Payments

You Did the Work. Getting Paid Should Be the Easy Part.

Send a payment link by text. Let people pay from their phone in under a minute. Let the polite reminders go out on their own so you never have to send another "just following up" message.

Questions first? Send us a message and we will reply the same business day.

  • Pay from a phone, no app to download
  • Reminders you never have to send
  • Attached to the customer's record

The Job Ended Two Weeks Ago. The Money Did Not Arrive.

Most late payments are not people refusing to pay. They are people who meant to and then got on with their day.

The Invoice in a Full Inbox

You emailed a PDF. It is sitting under forty other emails, and opening it requires a laptop they are not near.

Waiting on a Check

They said they would mail it. That was nine days ago. You have no idea whether it was ever written.

The Awkward Follow-Up

Nobody enjoys sending it. So it gets put off a day, then a week, then it feels too late to bring up at all.

No Clear Picture of Who Owes What

The answer lives in a spreadsheet somebody updates when they remember, which is not often.

Taking Payment on Site Is a Hassle

Card reader in the other van, no signal, or you just write it down and promise to sort it out later. Later rarely comes.

Deposits You Never Collected

Taking something up front is awkward in person, so you skip it, and then the no-show costs you a whole slot.

What You Get

Different Jobs, Different Ways to Ask

A quick service call and a six-week project should not be billed the same way.

Payment links you can text

Fastest way to get paid for a finished job. They tap it, pay on their phone, and you both get a receipt. No app, no account.

Proper invoices when you need them

For clients whose accounting department needs a document with line items and a number on it. Sent with a pay button attached.

Deposits booked up front

Ask for a deposit when the appointment is made, not awkwardly in person. People who have paid something tend to show up.

Recurring billing for ongoing work

Monthly retainers and service agreements that bill themselves instead of needing someone to remember on the first.

Reminders that send themselves

A friendly nudge a few days after, then again later if it is still open. Polite, consistent, and not coming from you personally.

One list of what is still open

Who owes what, how long it has been outstanding, and what has already been sent. Visible without opening a spreadsheet.

Two Weeks of Waiting, or Four Minutes

The same completed job, billed two different ways.

The old way, day 1

You finish and say you will send an invoice

Then you drive to the next job and forget about it until that evening.

Day 3

You finally email the invoice

It lands in an inbox with four hundred unread messages.

Day 11

You work up the nerve to follow up

They apologize. They genuinely did mean to pay it. They will get to it this week.

Day 19

The check arrives

Nineteen days, two uncomfortable messages, and a trip to the bank for money you earned nearly three weeks ago.

The other way, minute 1

You mark the job complete

A payment link goes out by text before you have packed up the van.

Minute 4

They pay while standing in their kitchen

Phone already in hand, no laptop needed, no check to write. Receipt goes to both of you and the record updates itself.

Setup

Built Around How You Already Bill

We are not going to tell you to change your pricing or your terms. We fit the system to what you already do.

We look at how you bill now

Deposits or not, payment terms, which jobs need a formal invoice and which just need a link. Including the parts that are inconsistent.

We connect your payment account

Money goes to your account on your existing terms. We set up how requests get sent, not where your money lands.

You approve the wording

Payment requests and reminders get written in your voice and read by you first. The tone of a reminder matters more than people think.

We decide when things send

Immediately on completion, on a schedule, or only when you press send. Reminder timing is yours to set, and easy to change later.

What We Are and Are Not

We are not a payment processor and we do not handle your money. Your payments go through a payment provider you hold the account with, directly into your account, on whatever terms you have agreed with them. What we build is everything around that: how the request reaches the customer, how reminders go out, and how the payment lands on their record so nobody has to reconcile it by hand.

That means questions about processing fees, payout timing, and which cards are accepted are answered by your provider, not by us. We will happily help you figure out what you need before you choose one, and we will tell you plainly if something you want is outside what we can set up.

We also will not help you write a reminder that bullies someone into paying. Firm is fine. Consistent is better. The goal is getting paid while keeping a customer who calls you again next year.

Payment Is the Last Step, Not a Separate One

A payment tool bolted onto the side of your business means someone still has to notice the job is done and go start the billing.

When payment lives with everything else, finishing the job is what sends the request. The customer record shows the call, the booking, the appointment, and what they paid, in order. The review request waits until the invoice is settled. All of it on the I Ninja App, with nobody keeping a mental list.

  • Job done triggers the request
  • Reminders run themselves
  • Paid status on the record
  • Review asked after payment

Who Gets the Most Out of This

Anyone who finishes work first and collects afterward.

Staffing & Recruiting

Placement fees invoiced the moment a candidate starts, with reminders that do not require a phone call to accounting.

Property Management

Application fees, deposits, and one-off charges collected online instead of chased in person.

MSPs & IT Services

Monthly agreements that bill themselves, and project work invoiced as each stage completes.

Agencies & Consultants

Retainers on a schedule and deposits before work starts, without an awkward conversation about terms.

Local & Professional Services

Get paid before you leave the driveway. Text the link, they tap it, done.

Small Businesses & Solo Operators

No bookkeeper, no accounts team. The reminders happen whether you get around to them or not.

AI is optional here

No AI is involved in getting you paid. Everything described above can be built with rules and triggers you approve, doing exactly the same thing every time. I Ninja LLC is a human-first company, and AI is a layer you can turn on, turn off, or never switch on at all.

Payment Questions, Answered

Including where our part stops and your provider's starts.

Does I Ninja LLC help businesses collect payments online?

Yes. I Ninja LLC sets up online payment collection for service businesses. That includes payment links you can send by text or email, invoices, deposits taken at the time of booking, recurring billing for ongoing work, automatic payment reminders, and a single view of what is still outstanding.

Is I Ninja LLC a payment processor?

No. I Ninja LLC is not a payment processor and does not hold or handle your money. Payments are processed through a payment provider that you hold the account with, and funds go directly to your account on the terms you have with that provider. We set up how payment requests are sent, how reminders go out, and how payments are recorded against each customer.

What are the processing fees?

Processing fees are set by your payment provider, not by I Ninja LLC. Fees, payout timing, and which payment methods are accepted are all determined by the provider you choose. We can help you work out what you need before you pick one.

What is a payment link?

A payment link is a web address you send to a customer by text or email that opens a page where they can pay. They do not need to download an app or create an account. It is usually the fastest way to get paid for a completed job because most people already have their phone in hand.

Can I take a deposit when someone books?

Yes. A deposit can be requested at the time an appointment is booked rather than in person. This also connects to scheduling, so the booking and the deposit are recorded together.

Do reminders go out automatically?

Yes. You decide the timing and the wording, and reminders for unpaid invoices send on their own. Reminders stop once the payment is received, so nobody gets chased for something they have already paid.

Can I bill clients on a recurring schedule?

Yes. Ongoing work such as monthly retainers and service agreements can be billed on a repeating schedule instead of someone having to remember to raise an invoice each period.

Will I be able to see what is still unpaid?

Yes. Outstanding payments appear in one place showing who owes what and how long it has been open. Because payments are attached to the customer record, you can also see that history alongside their calls, messages, and appointments.

Where is I Ninja LLC located?

I Ninja LLC is based in Trinity County, California and serves businesses across the United States. You can reach the company by email at [email protected] or through the contact page.
